摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of cracks on a ceramic member, a mechanical seal part, and electrode connection parts due to thermal expansion of a solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell device 10 has a reaction zone (hot zone) 32 for heating to an operating reaction temperature at the center part of the lengthwise direction of an elongated substrate, and also has at least one cold zone 30 at a first end 11a and/or a second end 11b that are the ends in the lengthwise direction for remaining at a low temperature below the operating reaction temperature when the reaction zone 32 is heated. An electrolyte layer 28 is disposed between an anode layer 24 and a cathode layer 26 in the reaction zone 32. The anode layer 24 and the cathode layer 26 have electrical pathways 25 and 27 respectively extending to an exterior surface of the at least one cold zone 30 for electrical connection at low temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
