This kneading segment (1A) is provided to each of a pair of kneading screws rotatably accommodated in a barrel (2) having a cavity in the inside thereof, rotates with the kneading screws in the same direction therewith, and kneads material that is fed into the barrel (2), the kneading segment having at least two kneading flights (11A) which protrude radially outward, and the ratio of the root diameter to the curvature radius of the cavity of the barrel (2) being 0.6 or less. Through the present invention, a kneading segment is obtained which increases a flow having a high degree of elongation. |
