The device (6) has an air duct (7) for guiding air (L). The air duct is provided with an air inlet aperture (7.1) and an air outlet aperture (7.2). A cover plate (2) of the lighting unit (1) is arranged in front of the air outlet aperture so that the light sources (3,4) are produced within range of cover plate. The air in the air duct is heated by produced light source. A nozzle (8) is arranged for the defined air circulation at the air outlet aperture. An independent claim is included for lighting unit.
