<p>The invention relates to a system of panels made of high-performance polymers, each plate having cuts or grooves designed in a specific manner and located at strategic points to enable the interconnection of several plates and, thus, the construction of modules of panels which can be extended immediately, which are likewise interconnecting, longitudinally, transversely and vertically, in order to quickly cover long sections of barrier-type structures of various heights or with a stepped arrangement. The inner chambers or boxes formed in the modular system of panels of the invention can be used to house any material - liquid or dry, for example granular - or a combination of many materials in order to restrict the passage of any element such as, for example, water, to protect against impacts, earth movements and/or erosion. Another aspect of the invention consists of protecting a barrier-type structure, built from the panel modules according to the invention, once the inner chambers or boxes have been filled with any fluid material. Said structure can be permanent or provisional. The modular system of panels has many uses, in particular for flood control.</p> |
