<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid ejection head and a jig which can highly-accurately position and fix a filter and simplify assembly process while reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for manufacturing the liquid ejection head including a head body, and flow path member which has a flow path member body 310 where a liquid flow path 311 for supplying liquid to the head body is provided and a filter 317 that is attached to an opening surface where the liquid flow path 311 is opened, and which is connected to a liquid storage means. The jig 320 is provided to protrude so that it contacts the outer edge part of the filter 317 for positioning on the opening surface of the flow path member body. The method includes a step of placing the filter 317 on the opening surface of the flow path member body 310 and positioning the filter 317 by the jig 320, and a step of removing the jig 320 and fixing the filter 317 to the opening surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
