Provided is a curable composition containing a compound having a polymerizable group, whereby it is possible to create, by means of a wet process, an organic electroluminescence element in which multiple organic layers are disposed between two electrodes. Also provided is an organic electroluminescence element which has a layer containing the cured product of said curable composition and of which the light-emitting properties are improved. A curable composition containing: an indolocarbazole compound having an indolocarbazole structure containing one polymerizable group such as a vinyl group and an epoxy group; and a compound having two polymerizable groups. An organic electroluminescence element having a layer obtained by coating and curing the aforementioned curable composition as the hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescence element.
