In order to transmit sound that is located in a rectangular room, in combination with a video transmission screen (10), and originates from audio signals including at least three main channels (2, 3, 4) and a low-register effects channel (1), at least five sound chambers (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) specially designed for the reproduction of audio frequencies less than 120 Hz are used. Four of said sound chambers (11, 13, 14, 15) are placed, respectively, in four angles of the room, and at least one sound chamber (12) is placed near the screen. Both chambers (14, 15) placed in the angles farthest from the screen receive either a signal, made up of the sum of the signals assigned to the other chambers that have reverse polarity and are individually delayed and have low-pass filtering, or a signal from a microphone (23, 25) placed immediately near both chambers (14, 15) in question. The signal has a reverse polarity and low-pass filtering. |
