PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent the diameter reduction of a bearing by partially pressing in a base plate and a core of a stator. CONSTITUTION: A bearing assembly(100) includes a bearing housing and a bearing. The bearing forms press-in units in the bearing housing. A base pate(200) includes a boring unit for the bearing housing and a protruding unit protruding from the boring unit to the bearing housing. A stator includes a core and a coil. The core forms a through hole combined with the bearing housing. The coil is wound on the core. A rotation axis(400) is included in the bearing. A rotor(500) is combined with the rotation axis.
