<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new material deformed according to a temperature change in place of conventional bimetal. <P>SOLUTION: The composite material 1a is characterized in that a first material layer 2 and a second material layer 3 are directly joined or joined via a reinforcing material, both of the first material layer 2 and the second material layer 3 are formed of rubber materials, the rubber material forming at least the second material layer 3 contains inorganic powder out of the rubber material forming the first material layer 2 and the rubber material forming the second material layer 3, the content or the kind of the inorganic powder in the rubber material forming the first material layer 2 is different from that in the rubber material forming the second material layer 3, and a coefficient of the linear thermal expansion of the second material layer 3 is thereby larger than a coefficient of the linear thermal expansion of the first material layer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
