MOVING PICTURE DECODING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture decoding device capable of being easily compatible with an interlace format in encoding and decoding of moving pictures in accordance with to an HEVC format.

SOLUTION: The display control information includes sequence unit display control information which is commonly used in display processing of all pictures belonging to a sequence as a decoding target and picture unit display control information which is independently used. The code string analyzing section obtains display control information from each extended information area for a picture unit. Only when a moving picture signal of the decoding target is the interlace format, an extended information area decoding section obtains picture unit display control information include an identifier which specifies whether (1) to perform display as a top field belonging to a moving picture signal of the interlace format or (2) to perform display as a bottom field belonging to a moving picture signal of the interlace format in the display processing of the picture as a decoding target. The output picture setting section changes an output method of the picture on the basis of the obtained identifier.
