PURPOSE: A charging method in a home agent or a local mobility agent for a CDMA 2000 system and a device thereof are provided to transmit a decision to a home agent or a local mobility agent by executing the decision based on a service provider policy. CONSTITUTION: A registration request authentication module of a wireless communication device receives a registration request (1002). A charging message transmission module of the wireless communication device transmits a charging message indicating the support of the charging mode based on the received registration request (1004). The wireless communication device receives indication for a point-to-point connection charging process in a home agent or a local mobility agent in response to the charging message.
