<p>PURPOSE: An electric furnace is provided to easily determine the need for repair or replacement of refractory in a bottom blowing device by monitoring changes in the pressure or temperature of the refractory with a pressure sensor and one or more temperature sensors. CONSTITUTION: An electric furnace comprises a plurality of gas supply pipes(200), bottom refractory(220), protective refractory(240), and a first temperature sensor(230). The plurality of gas supply pipes are embedded in the bottom refractory and supply bottom blowing gas into the electric furnace. The protective refractory encloses the exterior of the bottom refractory with a gap. The first temperature sensor senses the temperature of the bottom refractory changed by the reaction of the electric furnace.</p> |
