Process for the continuous preparation of bituminous emulsions with an average particle size of less than one micron using emulsification by phase inversion in a combination of low-shear static mixers and high-shear homogenisers. The invention also refers to the bituminous emulsions obtained and their application to the construction and/or maintenance of roads.
