PURPOSE: A lid processing apparatus and method are provided to properly turn off power and prevent damage to the coil of an electromagnet by effectively fixing a lid even in case of suspension of power supply. CONSTITUTION: A lid processing apparatus comprises a lid locking cylinder unit(100) and a lid fixing unit(200). The lid locking cylinder unit is extended lengthwise and moved up and down. The lid fixing unit is formed across the longitudinal direction and moved back and forth in the horizontal direction by the up and down motion of the lid locking cylinder unit. |
