<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient time to spare for control at a control part, and to simplify a constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This instantaneous voltage drop compensation device includes a high-speed switch 2, a power converter 4 and the control part 200. When instantaneous voltage drop is detected, voltage control is entered from harmonic compensation. By this, a rated voltage is applied to a load 3 from the power converter 4 immediately after the detection of the instantaneous voltage drop, and the instantaneous voltage drop is compensated. Furthermore, since a system current flowing to the high-speed switch 2 is gradually reduced with time, the high-speed switch 2 can be disconnected when a predetermined time elapses after the detection of the instantaneous voltage drop. A surge can be prevented since the current is almost zero at the disconnection of the switch. Thus, the control part for current control can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
