<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a mat plate such as a light diffusion plate for ensuring high quality of image without forming a visible dark-colored spot part on a display screen of a liquid crystal display device when viewing the display screen from not only substantially the front direction but also from an oblique direction inclined by 45 degrees or more from its normal line direction when another optical film or the like is sticked. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the mat plate includes a process for producing a mixed composition prepared by melting and mixing a transparent resin and coarse particles having particle diameter of 30-300 μm together by using a biaxial extruder having a ratio, L/D, of 35 or more when length in the axial direction of a screw is L and diameter of the screw is D, a process for molding the mixed composition into pellets, and a process for manufacturing the mat plate 31 constituted by laminating a surface layer 32 made of material for the surface layer made of the pellets on at least one face of a base layer 33 made of material for the base layer containing a transparent resin by extruding the material for the surface layer and the material for base layer together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
