ANTI-REFLECTION FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A functional film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a physical property while simplifying a structure by forming a pattern unit on a low refractive index layer. CONSTITUTION: A functional film includes a base(10), a barrier unit(30), and a low refractive index layer(20). The base is formed with a material having high optical transmission to be variously applied to an image display device and et cetera. The barrier unit is formed to expose a part of the base on the low refractive index layer and improves a physical property of the functional film. The barrier unit maximizes reflection prevention effect by assisting a low refractive index of the low refractive index layer. The low refractive index layer is formed in between the barrier unit on the base and prevents reflection of light by having a lower refractive index than the base.
