PURPOSE: A floating transfer unit is provided to have simple configuration. CONSTITUTION: A floating transfer unit(10) comprises housings(40A-40C), multiple gas jetting holes(54), connection units(62), and a gas supply unit. The housings have a floating transfer surface(36) continued by ceiling walls(42) of the housings and an internal cavity. The gas jetting holes are formed on the ceiling walls to communicate with the cavity. The connection units are installed in the side of the housings to connect the housings to each other so that gas can flow in the cavity of the housings. The gas supply unit is installed in one or more housings and supplies gas supplied from a gas supply device to the cavity.
