A STRUCTURE OF MEMBRANE FOR AIR DOME

PURPOSE: A structure of a membrane for an air dome is provided to minimize the damage of a membrane by reducing the range of damages due to the severe weather such as heavy snow and gust. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a membrane for an air dome comprises a plurality of membranes(20) to be extended to a predetermined width and longitudinally connected to each other. The outer membrane(10) overlaps an edge part(20a) extended along the longitudinal direction of the membrane with the edge part of an adjacent membrane to connect to the inner and outer plates(30,31) through a fastening unit(32). An air dome is floated on the air by fixing the edges of the outer membrane to a bottom surface(8) and injecting air inside. The membrane is woven by warps(a) and wefts(b). A first joint line(21a) formed by joining a plurality of unit membranes(21) is arranged in a slant with respect to a second joint line(21b) formed by joining the edge parts of the adjacent membranes.
