<p>PURPOSE: An amplifier is provided to efficiently perform a constant envelope signal generation process which requires a high processing speed without requiring accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter includes a signal processing circuit(202), a first D/A converter(204-1), a second D/A converter(204-2), and an analog calculation circuit(206). The signal processing circuit generates an orthogonal signal orthogonal to an input signal. The first D/A converter converts the orthogonal signal into an analog signal. The second D/A converter converts the input signal into an analog signal. The analog calculation circuit generates a constant envelope signal based on the analog signal from the first D/A converter and the analog signal from the second D/A converter.
