<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ocean current power generation device capable of increasing a power generation quantity by effectively converting the energy of an ocean current into electric energy even if the speed distribution of the ocean current is different between the sea bottom side and the sea surface side. <P>SOLUTION: In this ocean current power generation device (1) arranged at the sea bottom (2) for generating electric power by using the ocean current, a plurality of power generation units (10) are arranged toward the vertical direction, and the other power generation unit (10) can be connected toward the ocean current direction to the respective power generation units (10).
