<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a resin original plate for printing by which a resin original plate for printing of which an entire print surface is uniformly roughened is manufactured inexpensively with high productivity without various problems generated in a conventional method, and provide the resin original plate for printing manufactured by the same manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a process in which a roughening sheet 4 is detachably fixed on a surface 2 of a support substrate 1 and includes a shaping surface 3 formed by roughening an opposite side to a support substrate side of the roughening sheet, in a state that a layer 8 of a photosensitive resin composition 6 is in contact with a molding surface as the shaping surface of the roughening sheet 4, the layer is exposed to activated light rays to be cured and is peeled from the molding surface, and thereby the surface of the layer contacting with the molding surface becomes a roughened print surface.
