<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system and an image display method capable of performing image display by which an image without distortion can be observed by an observer observing a display surface, at a position shifted from the front of the display surface of an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display system of the present invention includes: a display part for displaying an image; a human position measuring part for detecting a position, relative to a display surface, of a viewer who observes the image displayed on the display surface of the display part; a geometrical arithmetic processing part for creating, from data of the image, corrected image data for making a shape viewed when the image displayed on the display surface is observed from the position, a shape viewed when the image displayed on the display surface is observed from a direction perpendicular to the display surface; and an image display part for displaying the corrected image data on the display surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
