<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply device capable of efficiently performing the exchange of trays carried by a tray carrying body by a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The component supply device includes: the tray carrying body 6 which has an opening 12 formed to penetrate it vertically and includes first support pieces 16 located in the opening and supporting the trays 19 and travels between a supply position and an exchange position; an actual tray storage part 26 disposed below the exchange position; an empty tray storage part 36 disposed above the exchange position and having second support pieces 39 located at lower ends and engaging-holding the tray stacked at the lowest stage; and an elevator mechanism 31. The elevator mechanism includes a lifter 32 on which the trays in the actual tray storage part are placed and which is driven vertically. By lifting the tray on the upper face through the opening of the tray carrying body by driving the lifter in the lifting direction, the elevator mechanism pushes up empty trays supported by the tray carrying body to the inside of the empty tray storage part to hold the empty trays by the second support pieces. From this state, the elevator mechanism makes the first support pieces of the tray carrying body support the tray at the uppermost stage on the lifter by driving the lifter in the lowering direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
