<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source lighting device which allows for thinning of the lighting of a desired number of light source units, by operation of a predetermined wall switch out of a plurality of light source units in connection state, in a light source lighting device connecting a plurality of light source units. <P>SOLUTION: In a light source lighting device 110-1, when a specific on/off pattern consisting of an off state and an on state is detected by a power supply detection unit consisting of resistors 27a, 27b and detecting the supply state of a commercial AC power supply 11, a thinning control unit 28 runs a thinning mode, i.e., a control of removing any one of light source connection parts 40a, 40b from the supply object of light source DC power, for a light source power supply unit (a step-down converter control unit 26, step-down converters 24a, 24b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
