PURPOSE: A composite material for a bulletproof helmet and a method thereof are provided to ensure the ability of improved bulletproofing by having excellent hardness and shape stability. CONSTITUTION: A composite material for a bulletproofing helmet comprises two first prepregs(100) and a plurality of second prepregs(200). The first prepregs include a first polymer matrix and a first network(110) of a high intensity fiber. The second prepregs include a second network of a high intensity fiber and a polymer film(220). The second network has a high strength which is greater than 11 g/denier and a tensile elasticity which is greater than 200 g/denier. The polymer film is formed on one surface of the second network.
