PURPOSE: A method for hydrophilization is provided to provide hydrophilicity for various materials such as silicate glass and polyester film. CONSTITUTION: A method for hydrophilization comprises a step of preparing a substrate; a step of providing a siloxane-modified surface by chemically fixing a siloxane oligomer represented by chemical formula 1, on the surface of the substrate; and a step of forming a siloxane coating with N,N-bis(hydroxyalkyl)aminoalkyl group, by reaction of a glycidol compound represented by chemical formula 2, on the modified surface of the siloxane.
