Solar salt-distiller for obtaining distilled water from sea water or brackish water and simultaneously recovering the salts solved in water, which comprises: a traditional case being coupled to a plate for evaporating-crystallizing water and salt respectively, which is characterised in that the glass plate has a cotton fabric adhered to both sides thereof, without totally covering an upper portion of the same that is partially plunged into brackish water, where the cotton fabric absorbs the water that is raised by capillarity and wet the whole fabric, thus evaporating the water and collecting the salts in the upper portion of the plate.
