摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive method of analyzing performance of a motor for a hybrid vehicle for performing performance evaluation of a motor and a motor design using computer simulation without performing performance evaluation of a motor and a motor design by prototyping a motor and using a motor tester when designing a motor for a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The method of analyzing performance a motor for a hybrid vehicle includes: a first step of calculating motor maximum torque necessary for providing a desired hill climbing performance and motor maximum output necessary for providing a desired passing/acceleration performance by using a vehicle travel simulator; a second step of designing a motor provided with the maximum torque and the maximum output performance; a third step of calculating an operating point of the motor; a fourth step of creating an iron loss map of the motor and a copper loss map in the form of a contour map, respectively; and a fifth step of calculating an average value of iron loss and copper loss of the motor when traveling in desired mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
