<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of sufficiently preventing leakage of noises generated in an electric fan to outside of a cleaner body, and capable of improving the quietness of the vacuum cleaner. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: the cleaner body; the built-in electric fan in a lower part of the cleaner body for generating suction wind; a suction nozzle attached to a lower part of the cleaner body; a dust collection part attached to an upper part of the cleaner body for capturing the dust sucked by the suction wind generated by the electric fan; a first channel disposed in the cleaner body for making the suction nozzle communicate with the dust collection part; and a second channel disposed in the cleaner body for making the dust collection part communicate with an intake side of the electric fan.
