<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a heat transfer tube, capable of perfectly removing an existing metallikon layer present on a surface of a heat transfer tube having a complex shape of an open rack vaporizer for vaporizing liquid natural gas in a manner good for working environment or natural environment, without adverse effects on a base metal of the heat transfer tube and with less steps, excellent removable efficiency, and simple curing before operation. <P>SOLUTION: The repairing method of a heat transfer tube includes removing the existing metallikon layer applied, by metallic spraying, to the outer surface of the heat transfer tube constituting a heat transfer tube panel of the open rack vaporizer for vaporizing liquid natural gas; and applying a new metallikon layer. The removal of the existing metallikon layer is performed by injecting ultrahigh-pressure water from an injection nozzle onto the outer surface of the heat transfer tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
