PURPOSE: A high-speed wideband frequency comparing apparatus is provided to rapidly compare a reference signal with a comparison target signal and to operate in a high speed or through broadband. CONSTITUTION: A pulse signal generating unit(12) outputs a reference signal and a comparison target signal in a pulse type signal. A capacitor(13) charges or discharges a voltage corresponding to the reference signal outputted from the pulse signal generating unit and outputs a reference voltage having a variable first frequency range. The capacitor charges or discharges the voltage corresponding to the comparison target signal outputted from the pulse signal generating unit and outputs a comparison target voltage having a variable second frequency range. A voltage comparing unit(14) outputs a comparison result signal by comparing the reference voltage with the comparison target voltage which are outputted from the capacitor.
