PURPOSE: A gearshift for an automatic transmission is provided to variously design a layout of a console unit by being exposed to the upper part of the console during driving or in need. CONSTITUTION: A gearshift for an automatic transmission comprises a main lever(11), a main lever driving motor(13), a main lever driving chain(14), a sub lever(21), a sub lever driving motor(23), and a sub lever driving chain(24). The main lever is rotationally installed around a rotary shaft located inside a console(C). The main lever driving motor rotates the main lever so that the main lever is exposed to the outside of the console in use. The main lever driving chain transmits rotary power of the main lever driving motor to the main lever. The sub lever is rotationally installed around a sub lever rotary shaft located inside the console. The sub lever driving motor rotates the sub lever so that the sub lever is exposed to the outside of the console in a use. The sub lever driving chain transmits the rotary power of the sub lever driving motor to the sub lever.
