The kit has mechanical connection elements (11-14) e.g. mechanical clamping sleeve, crimp sleeve and deep stepped punching sleeve, provided for conductors e.g. three phase conductors (101-103, 201-203) and neutral conductors (104, 204), of cables (100, 200). Insulating sheaths (21-24) e.g. retractable cold tube or skirt, are adapted to cover each mechanical connection element. A holding body (30) is adapted to cover an assembly of the mechanical connection elements. An outer protection cover (40) e.g. ribbon or metal knitting sleeve, covers the holding body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a connection for connecting low voltage network cables (2) a method for connecting low voltage network cables.
