<p>The invention relates to a power-generating device, comprising: at least one buoyant load-bearing body (10); a means (11) for mooring said buoyant load-bearing body; at least one load-bearing arm (12) which is attached to the buoyant load-bearing body and which is rotatably hinged, relative to the buoyant load-bearing body, about a substantially horizontal rotational axis (12b); a ballasting means (14) that makes it possible to adjust the rotary angular position of the load-bearing arm (12) relative to the buoyant load-bearing body (10); and at least one submerged turbine (13) that is characterized by a driving direction (X) and is capable of being driven by a water current, the direction of which is substantially parallel to the driving direction (X) of the turbine, said submerged turbine also being capable of converting the kinetic energy of said water current into usable power. Said at least one turbine (13) is mounted onto said load-bearing arm (12) while being oriented such that the direction (X) direction in which it is driven by a water current is substantially parallel to the rotational axis (12b) of the load-bearing arm.</p> |
