POLARIZATION SYSTEM AND 3 DIMENSIONAL IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A polarizing system and a three-dimensional image display device comprising the same are provided to prevent a viewer from feeing dizziness, by decreasing crosstalk. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image display device includes a display panel(100) and a polarizing system(200). The display panel is prepared in a rectangular plate shape with a long side and a short side, and displays a left-eye image and a right-eye image separately. The polarizing system includes a shutter panel(210), a first retardation film(220), a second retardation film(231), a third retardation film(235), and a third polarizing film(240). The shutter panel separates an image into the left-eye image and the right-eye image. The first retardation film is arranged between a viewer and the shutter panel, and changes the phase of light. The second retardation film and the third retardation film are arranged between the viewer and the first retardation film, and changes the phase of the light emitted from the first retardation film. The third polarizing film is arranged between the viewer and the second retardation film, and has a transmission axis of 90°.
