An electric air blower is incorporated in the lower part of a cleaner body (1) and generates suction air current. A suction tool (2) is mounted below the cleaner body (1). A dust collection section (3) is mounted above the cleaner body (1) and collects dust sucked by the suction air current generated by the electric air blower. A first flow path (26) is provided to the cleaner body (1) and connects the suction tool (2) and the dust collection section (3). A second flow path (27) is provided to the cleaner body (1) and connects the dust collection section (3) and the air suction side of the electric air blower. The second flow path (27) is formed along substantially the entire length of the cleaner body (1) in the longitudinal direction thereof.
