A curved display panel manufacturing method for manufacturing a curved display panel having a desired curved shape by using a planar-type display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate which face each other, and the method comprises the steps of: shaving off at least a part of the outer sides of the first substrate and the second substrate, respectively, so that the thickness of the first substrate and the second substrate can be reduced to a predetermined thickness; and forming a fixing layer in the edge area around a corner that is not bent while the first substrate and the second substrate are molded in the desired curved shape, among the edges of the outer sides of the first substrate and the second substrate.
