<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line repeater in which data of a TDM line is not discarded even if a transmission rate is varied. <P>SOLUTION: In a line repeater 1 which is connected with an opposite device in a ring shape by using transmission rate variable device lines 11, 12 (abbreviated as lines 11, 12 hereafter) of which transmission rates are varied, when it is detected by an inter-device line termination section 109 that the transmission rate of the line 11 preset as a transfer path of a TDM line is reduced, a mapping request creation section 108 creates a mapping request by adding information indicating transmission bands of the TDM line overflowing from the line 11 and a destination indicating a final line repeater, and the mapping request is transmitted to the other device connected in the ring shape via the other line 12. Therefore, the overflowing transmission bands added to the mapping request are mapped to the lines from the other device through the line repeater which becomes the final transfer destination, successively, thereby forming a detour path of the TDM line to the line repeater that becomes the final transfer destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
