METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING ENVELOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for detecting an envelope of a modulation signal only with low calculation complexity and a simple circuit configuration.

SOLUTION: A method of detecting an envelope of the present invention comprises the steps of: extracting the predetermined number of sampling signals from among a plurality of sampling signals corresponding to a modulation signal; distinguishing a target sampling signal from among the extracted sampling signals; calculating envelope component values of the target sampling signal on the basis of a difference between a component associated with the target sampling signal and components associated with the other sampling signals from among the extracted sampling signals; and detecting an envelope of the modulation signal on the basis of the calculated envelope component values.
