摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly identify resistance anomalies in blocks of power storage elements. <P>SOLUTION: A power storage device has a plurality of serially connected power storage elements which charge and discharge. Each power storage element has a current breaker for cutting off a current path therein. The plurality of power storage elements are divided into a plurality of blocks and voltage sensors detect voltage of each of the blocks and output detected results to a controller. A current sensor detects current flowing through the power storage device and outputs a detected result to the controller. The controller computes resistance of the blocks from the voltage values detected by the voltage sensors, the current values detected by the current sensor, and a limit value of possible open voltage for each block during charging and discharging. The controller also identifies a block resistance as abnormal when the corresponding computed resistance is above a threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
