<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector securing visibility of numeric values or the like to be displayed on a display substrate, to provide a gas detector apt to secure sealability of a housing inside for a long period of time, and to provide a gas detector having little possibility of breakage even if an internal pressure suddenly increases due to explosion inside the housing. <P>SOLUTION: The gas detector includes, inside a housing 4, a gas detecting unit 5 for determining the concentration of gas to be detected, and a display unit 8 for displaying a determination result by the gas detecting unit 5. The display unit includes a circuit board 92 supporting a display element, and a window plate member 41 disposed inside the housing while supporting the circuit board 92. The window plate member 41 is constituted of a metal auxiliary housing 42 with an opening part for a display window, and an incombustible, transparent resin window forming part 43 insert-molded so as to insert at least edge portions of the opening part from the front/back. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
