<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of achieving power saving of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises a drive control circuit creating a drive signal for driving an electric motor including a permanent magnet and a coil. The drive control circuit generates the drive signal based on a position signal indicating positions of a first driving member and a second driving member. In a first period, the drive signal represents a first voltage level, and in a second period, the drive signal alternately represents a second voltage level different from the first voltage level and the first voltage level.
