<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring other than a circular coil and a method for easily manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A wire rod for a spring such as a metal, synthetic resin or rubber is wound around a core with a polygonal column or a plurality of thin members as an apex. Thus, a twisted polygonal column or a twisted regular hexagonal column is easily obtained, which easily has an arbitrary spiral pattern on a side ridge, which uses the elasticity possessed by the wire rod for the spring itself regardless of the presence or absence of heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
