摘要 <p>Provided is an engine control device for a vehicle comprising an engine with a supercharger and an automatic transmission, wherein worsening of drive force responsiveness can be avoided and gearshift shock can be reduced. When a boost pressure of a supercharger (54) is equal to or greater than a pre-established boost pressure suppression threshold, a boost pressure suppression control means (108) executes boost pressure suppression control for activating an electronic throttle valve during the boost pressure increasing process so that the boost pressure stops increasing. During the gear shifting of an automatic transmission (12), as the degree of progression of the gear shifting approaches completion, a boost pressure suppression control limiting means (110) limits the action of the electronic throttle valve toward closing during the boost pressure suppression control. Therefore, gearshift shock can be reduced because sudden fluctuations in engine torque caused by the boost pressure suppression control are unlikely to occur in the final stage of gear shifting of the automatic transmission (12). The boost pressure is not made to decrease uniformly during gear shifting of the automatic transmission (12), and worsening of drive force responsiveness can therefore be avoided.</p>
