<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination circuit capable of determining whether or not a cable connecting a terminal from which a video signal is outputted and a display device is disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: A determination circuit comprises a terminal, a voltage detection section and a determination section. One end side of a cable is connected to a display device and the other end side of the cable is connected to the terminal in such a manner that a video image corresponding to an inputted video signal is displayed on the display device. The voltage detection section detects a terminal voltage of the terminal. In the state where the terminal and the display device are connected via the cable, based on a predetermined value corresponding to a minimum level of a synchronizing signal included in a video signal that should appear in the terminal and a minimum value of the terminal voltage which is detected while the synchronizing signal is inputted to the terminal, the determination section determines whether or not the cable between the terminal and the display device is disconnected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
