<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing a splicing device less susceptible to a decline in splicing accuracy. A splicing device (1) is provided with a tape junction (2) having a fixed retaining member (20) and a movable retaining member (21) that is able to switch between an open position open with respect to the fixed retaining member (20) and a closed position closed with respect to the fixed retaining member (20). The present invention is characterized in that switching from the open position to the closed position closes the movable retaining member (21) with respect to the fixed retaining member (20), and the movable retaining member (21) overlaps onto the fixed retaining member (20) in the front/back direction, a splice tape (9) is folded in between the movable retaining member (21) and the fixed retaining member (20), a first joining end (804) and a second joining end (814) are held sandwiched by the splice tape (9) from the front/rear direction, and the first joining end (804) and the second joining end (814) are joined together.</p> |
