<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode having high heat dissipation characteristics and lightweight. <P>SOLUTION: Since emission of heat becomes active in a high-temperature portion among anodes, it is effective for heat emission to enlarge surface area at a place which is near a front face. The anode 1 is exposed via a rear end face 9 of a first body part and a side wall 10 of a periphery of the first body part, and they function as a heat-dissipating face. Such part is relatively near to the front face 16. When the anode 1 is compared with conventional electrodes, since heat-dissipating area in a high-temperature region can be enlarged as a whole, an amount of heat dissipation can be enlarged.
