<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pressure control device for an automatic transmission, the device capable of preventing foreign matter from entering an electromagnetic hydraulic pressure control means. <P>SOLUTION: An introducing section 40 introducing operation oil to a linear solenoid valve 112 has the first body 41, the second body 43 or others. A turning flow forming channel 50 turning the operation oil and a communication channel 521 communicating a center part of the turning flow generated in the turning flow generating channel 50 and the linear solenoid valve 112 are formed in the second body 43. The operation oil flowing into the turning channel 55 of the turning flow generating channel 50 flows along the inner wall 51 of the second body 43 and forms the turning flow. Here, the foreign matters contained in the operation oil moves in a diametrical outward direction of the turning flow by the centrifugal force. The operation oil in the center part of the turning oil flows into the linear solenoid valve 112 through a communication channel 521 in a foreign matter separating channel 56 of the turning flow generating channel 50.
