PURPOSE: To obtain a toner, a developer compsn. and an image forming method using the compsn., especially to obtain a color image forming method. CONSTITUTION: The toner contains a mixture with addition of surface additives containing resin, carbon black magnetite, positive charge accelerating additive, colloidal silica treated with a polymer hydroxy compd. and a quaternary ammonium compd. The developer compsn. contains carrier particles of ferrite cores having a polymer mixture coating on the surface. Thereby, an excellent black toner image can be obtd. without contamination on the back ground. The toner compsn. is substantially inactive to each color toner and does not give bad influences on the triboelectric characteristics of each color toner and on the color intensity of the image after developed. Thereby, the compsn. is advantageously used for a color image forming method. |
